The Hyrox competition begins with a 1km run, followed by 1 exercise. This is repeated 8 times (run, workout, run, workout, etc.) so participants will run for a total of 8km over the course of the competition.
Depending on the size of the Hyrox venue, there will either be a running track or a treadmill.
The running track will have two lanes, one for participants looking to go a faster pace, while the treadmill will be at a 2% incline to more accurately represent running on a track.
